Out of the Dark

Peter Breen Caleb is in the space between and the driver of new music with spoken word poetry emerging in the works out of stories of depression, anxiety and lived experience that have no easy fixes. It is a brilliant work and needs a wide audience. Favorite track: What You Think Is Not What I See (feat. Abigail Peace).

about

Caleb's jazz septet album "Out of the Dark" musically meditates on mental health. It seeks to create an awareness and understanding of mental illness through music and spoken word excerpts recorded by anonymous donors and reinterpreted live by actor Abigail Peace. This music extends upon Caleb's exploration into incorporating spoken word elements within his music beginning with his debut album Yarns, recorded in 2018.
